A Workforce Housing Plan that Really Works

The INA supports the development of workforce housing in the Interbay neighborhood.

The City’s own studies find that the greatest unmet housing need in Seattle is for workforce housing. Interbay is a natural location with  market demographics that support meeting this need. The INA’s comprehensive neighborhood plan creates the opportunity for an estimated 1,400 median-income priced housing units.

The INA actively supports the City’s plan to promote and underwrite the construction of workforce housing.  This creates density in an area most suitable for workforce housing; a neighborhood where apartments and workloft  homes will be located close to jobs, close to transportation, and close to recreation.
